Truly one of our favorite places to visit. Here's a few shots from the 2009 Ronald McDonald House Christmas Party. Boo Boo and the kids get to know each other while waiting for Santa to arrive.

Story time with Boo Boo!
JULY 09: Mini Hearts & Boo Boo Visit the Veterans Home
Sheryl & Dan accompanied Boo Boo to the Veterans Home in Murfreesboro Tennessee! This was our second visit to the Veterans Home and Boo Boo was welcomed back like a rock star. The guys all had many stories to share about their own experiences with horses. One gentleman was a former racing jocky! He thought he'd never get to see, touch, or feel, a horse up close again. To Sheryl and me, this is why we love doing these visits. Seeing Boo Boo or one of our other minis takes folks back to a special moment in their lives. They talk about a pony they had as a child and get these huge grins on their faces that are just priceless.
On this 4th of July, our thoughts are with the guys at the Veterans Home who gave so much!
Stay tuned for photos of this visit!

Boo Boo visits The Terrace Assisted Living & Memory Care Community!
Boo Boo had his maiden voyage in a NEW specially designed cart! The cart enables him to go up and down large slippery hallways safely. Boo Boo seemed to really enjoy his ride and had a great time meeting all the folks at this wonderful facility. We were even invited into the room of a 91 year old couple who resides there together. The colorful gentleman served under Patton! He had many wonderful stories of his time around horses during his service to our Country. They told us about how the busy street out in front of the building (Gallatin Rd.) had been a two lane dirt road when they were a young couple. Fascinating!
Boo Boo & Sheryl made many new friends and brought smiles to all. We were invited back and plan on seeing all the great folks at the Terrace very soon!
Thanks to Mini Hearts volunteer, Vicki Seabolt for all her help and video skills during this visit!!
Stay tuned for a video posting of this visit!!
